Between May 25 and 29, our partner, Matheus Vellasco, participated in the Spring School organized by the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa, in partnership with Goethe University Frankfurt and the University of Basel. The program focused on the challenges faced by Criminal Law and environmental protection in the Anthropocene era.
Throughout the course, professors and researchers from different parts of the world and diverse academic backgrounds contributed through lectures and panel discussions.
Matheus presented the paper “Anthropocene, Risk Society and the Limits of Criminal Law in Addressing Environmental Protection Demands”.
