In an article published this week by the Law Journal of the Public Defender’s Office of the State of Rio de Janeiro, our lawyers Maria Gabrielle Presler and Matheus Kauss Vellasco analyze the procedural and criminological aspects related to the legal unfeasibility of the continued application of Precedent No. 70 of the Court of Rio de Janeiro (TJRJ), in light of the new evidential standards established by the STJ in the examination of the legitimacy of police actions carried out by means of forced entry into the home.
